How to use PetsAdvice.net

In order to effectively use PetsAdvice.net to both share knowledge and indeed promote yourself or your website/service, you will need to register an account. Please click the link "Register" option on the main menu near the top right side of the screen. You will then need to provide the following informatuon:

Name - this can be a name of your choosing, it's best to use something others can identify with, and something you will remember, you may use your realname if you wish, but this will be your assigned username for logging into your account.

Password - Please choose some unique that others won't be able to guess, and that you will remember.

Confirm Password - Re-confirm your chosen password to ensure no mistakes.

First name - Your first name

Last name - Your last name

Email -  This must be a valid email address as you receive confirmation of you account and article status.

Pen name - This is the name that will appear on the sites member and in your authors box.

About me - this is what will appear in the box below your article, you may add in some information about yourself and your website/business, you may also add up to 2 links to this area.

Homepage - the address of your website, make sure you use the full URL like this:  http://www.yoursite.com


Once this is done, click submit.

The site will automatically send your a confirmation of your log in details to your chosen email account.

You are now free to add how to guides to the site, you can also comment on other users articles.

 

Guidelines for submitting pet articles:

Whilst we are aware many website owners will enjoy promoting their sites by sharing aerticles on PetsAdvice.net we need to ensure some basic standards are adhered to:

1. Your article must be in good English with correct punctuation and grammer.

2. Your article must be of good quality, guests who read it must actually learn how to do what you are writing about.

3. All articles must be Pet related as its the whole concept for the site after all!

4. You may not place more than 2 links, these must be placed in the authors resource box. Links to adult or other sites deemed by PetsAdvice.net as unsuitable will be removed.

5. Articles that have been "spun"  or are "plr" will not be accepted.

6. Content that is deemed excessive self or sales promotion will not be accepted.
